Psalm 30 calls on us to have prayerful dependence on God, which reflects our perspective, prayerful deliverance by God, which reflects our position, and praiseworthy declaration of God, which demonstrates our persistence. As we praise and give thanksgiving to God, in good circumstances and difficult times, we realize His love for us and His ability to "turn my wailing into dancing" and His ability to remove my "sackcloth and clothed me with joy." (Psalm 30:11)

As we live on a mission for God, the credibility of our witness in the world is tied to the contrast of how we live our lives, which is different from the world. We are able to thrive through practicing faithful presence as we trust our loving God.

As we progress through transitions, tests, trials, and triumphs, we need to leverage our earthly citizenship to appeal for justice, seek well-being, pursue God’s mission, and exercise our rights as citizens to achieve the good and flourishing of all. Our goal is to think deeply and biblically as we engage with American democracy and, as we do so, leverage our earthly citizenship for heavenly good.

There is a duty that every believer is called to. This duty is to live a godly life and share the Good News of the Gospel with neighbors and nations. We are given the commandment by Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20 to ”Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Paul finally arrives in Rome.  While in Rome, Paul boldly proclaims, without hindrances, Jesus and His Kingdom, he makes disciples, and he teaches them what it means to live a life identified and embedded in Jesus. Paul taught and modeled how to advance the life of the King and his Kingdom through the power of the Holy Spirit so that the world was turned upside down.
